Pensacola Pledge Scholars - A scholarship opportunity for students attending a public high school in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties wishing to attend the University of West Florida or Pensacola State College. NASSLEO Scholarship Awards Program - The National Association of School Safety and Law Enforcement Officials organization is offering scholarships for graduating high school seniors who have chosen to further their education and who will be enrolled full-time in a degree or diploma program at a recognized university or college. New Life Deliverance Temple Church Community Scholarship Program - This scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors in Okaloosa or Santa Rosa County. Each applicant must be a member in good standing of a local church and must maintain a 2.0-4.0 GPA upon graduation. Submissions must be post marked no later than March 22, 2018. Santa Rosa County Farm Bureau Scholarship - each year the Santa Rosa County Farm Bureau awards 2 non-reoccurring $1000 scholarships to students who will pursue either a 2 or 4 year college study program or a licensed technical occupational training program. John M. Will Memorial Scholarship - Available to a senior who will be enrolled full time in accredited college or university in course of study that relates to journalism. Federal Employee Education & Assistance Scholarship: $500 to $5,000 awarded to high school seniors who are dependents of civilian, federal, or postal employees. Minimum 3.0 GPA, essay, recommendation letter. Go to: feea.org/programs/scholarships Application deadline: March 21, 2018.
The Studer Foundation is proud to announce they are accepting applications for the Appelquist Difference Maker Award in the amount of $1000 scholarship for any Jay High School senior. Students will need complete application and submit by March 30, 2018.

The BBB Student Ethics Scholarship is currently open to high school juniors and seniors located in Northwest Florida's 14 county service area who personify high ethics as demonstrated through leadership, community service, overall personal integrity and academic history. Michele Hill Foundation is accepting applications for their Academic Achievement Community Service scholarships in the amount of $1000 each. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The scholarship winners may or may not have the highest GPA in the pool of applicants. The most critical factor determining the winners is based on applicant's description in 500 word essay of how they achieved a balance between Academics, Community Service, and have promoted diversity in their environment. Last year, every school that participated had at least 1 winner! Awarding 46 $1000 scholarships. To be eligible one must: show leadership potential, plan to attend accredited four year institution in the United States, and pre-register and attend the Michele Hill Raider Run on April 7, 2018 in Navarre, Florida. Society of American Military Engineers – Emerald Coast Post (SAME-ECP) is thrilled to open the application period, officially 15 January, for our academic scholarships. These scholarships are available to current high school seniors with cumulative GPAs of at least 3.0 and who plan to major in engineering or architecture beginning in fall, 2018. Navy League of the United States has a scholarship opportunity for the following: Santa Rosa graduate, Son/Daughter or Grandson/Granddaughter of Maritime Service Member or US Flag Merchant Marine..., active duty, retired, or honorably discharged, minimum 3.0 GPA, participant in school activities and extra-curricular activities, demonstrate leadership and need. Applicants will need to provide handwritten statement - "Why College or Post High School Education is Important to me" and provide letter of recommendation from Principal, Assistant Principal, Counselor, or Teacher. *** Alpha Omega Spirit of Community Scholarship will be providing four $1,000 scholarships to deserving high school seniors in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties that have demonstrated high academic achievement and future potential success in college and advanced community involvement including volunteer service. Applicant must have minimum of 3.0 GPA and plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college or technical school. Alpha Delta Kappa Florida Delta Chi Chapter Scholarship - This scholarship is provided by the honorary sorority for women educators that will award 2-$500 scholarships and a gift bag including a Dave Ramsey Graduate's Survival Guide to high school seniors from Santa Rosa Schools. It's based on scholastic achievement, personal character, leadership qualities, aptitude, future plans and need. Preference will be given to students wishing to enter the field of education. The winner will be contacted and will need to attend our monthly meeting at W.H. Rhodes Elementary on Tuesday, May 22nd by 3:45 p.m for refreshments and receipt of the scholarship. SRPE Trust Scholarship - available to all students who are graduating high school seniors whose parents are SRPE members in good standing through May 2018.
